Open SKB File
An SKB extension file is a backup-type file created by the Windows version of SketchUp, a free 3D modeling program.
SketchUp is basically a suite or suite of subscription products whose main function is CAD design, 3D modeling with drafting and design applications, architectural drafting, interior design, industrial and product design, landscape architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, theater , cinema and game development.
The SKB file contains a backup copy of a 3D model in SketchUp SKP format.
SKB files are automatically saved using the program's autosave feature in case the original SKP file becomes corrupted or accidentally deleted.
SKB files are only created by the Windows version of SketchUp and appear as a SKP file.
SKB files are usually saved in the 'My Documents' folder along with the original SKP file.
SKB files contain the previous model version, that is, the one that was saved before the current version in the SKP file.
If you have problems opening the SKB file, you may need to change the extension from SKB to SKP in order to open it.
