Open OLD File

OLD extension files are used to create backup copies of other files of various kinds, such as JPG or DOC. OLD files may be created automatically by software or manually by the user himself, indicating that the file is a backup copy.

It is common for the OLD extension to be placed after the original file suffix, for example 'file.jpg.old' when a particular program has created or saved a newer version of the file.

As you can guess, the OLD extension must be removed for the file to open properly with its original application.

In case you cannot open the original file, make sure that when you delete the OLD extension, the original extension has been left intact and without a dot at the end.
