Open LIC File

LIC extension files are used as license files for a variety of software applications.

Depending on the modality chosen by the programmer, LIC files can be plain text or encrypted binary files, in order to protect license rights.

LIC files are generally provided by the developer, once the software has been purchased, downloaded and registered, for the software to have a valid license, the files must be installed on the hard drive or available locally.

A LIC file will generally contain the registry information that pertains to the software application that is associated with it.

These files are commonly used with shareware or commercial applications.

There is no software associated with LIC files, as they are considered for universal use.
