In this use, the LCD file is a language file used by ABBYY FormReader and FineReader OCR software.
The LCD includes language information used to translate scanned text into actual characters and words.
Virtual CD Image
In this section, the LCD file is a virtual CD disk image created by CDSpace.
The LCD file emulates both the CD and CD-ROM drives on the hard drive, allowing you to run programs faster and without the CD.
The LCD file requires CDSpace emulation software to work.
