Open IVA File
Files with the IVA extension have, up to now, two different types of uses registered, namely:
Surveillance Video File
In this case, the IVA extension file is a video format used by multiple video surveillance systems, and generally contains video recordings captured on closed circuit television (CCTV) devices.
It is actually a proprietary format and can be saved as a backup file, but can generally be viewed with the software included with the video camera system, thus being a restricted format file.
To open or operate a VAT file you must have one of the following software installed:
- HiSystem DVR System Plus (Discontinued)
- INTOTECH SmartDVR Formula (Discontinued)
- Silicon DSS Backup Manager (Discontinued)
These software above are only found on third-party servers for download.
Malware or Virus
In this case, the files with the IVA extension are viruses that use that extension, thus being the inverse of an .AVI file.
Through the use of the file "REQUEST.IVA" it makes recursive searches of the target files and then stores and copies them in a file called "RECEIPT.IVA".
In this case, it is recommended to keep your antivirus software updated and to do a frequent scan of your system.
