Files with the EF extension are a type of exam file used by Wimba Diploma, an application used to create exams.

About Wimba Diploma

Wimba Diploma is used to easily create assessments. It is a question authoring and management tool for academic exams at various educational levels, and even business.

The EF file contains custom questions, instructions, answers, chapters, editing marks, and exam design information.

The EF file can also be exported as an RTF file for convenient sharing.

To create an EF file, select File ? New Exam and create your questions.

Next, you need to save your file, by selecting File ? Save, or by clicking the "Save" icon, giving the file a name, choosing the save location, and clicking Save.

Wimba Diploma was terminated in its functions when it was acquired by Blackboard in 2010.
