The DEPLOY extension file is a type of ClickOnce deployment file.
ClickOnce is a Microsoft technology that allows a user to install and run a Windows application by clicking a link on a web page.
The 'super power' of this installation system is that when the application installed with ClickOnce is executed, the application will search for new updates automatically, and if there are any, it will ask you if you want to install it.
It will also take care of installing the requirements that that application needs, therefore, if you have never worked with an application that uses the .NET Framework 2.0, it will be installed on your machine.
In a similar way, the DEPLOY file serves a deployment function for the DeployMaster software package.
