Open DAV File
Digital Video DVR recorders create the DAV files to save videos with modified MPEG compression and encryption.
DAV files are particularly used to store video captured from CCTV security cameras.
In DVR recorders there is a software called SightBoss that is responsible for creating DAV files.
These video files can be played on a PC using a compatible program, and because it is an encrypted file, either the DVR365 software is used, or through a format conversion.
