Open 4DV File
The 4DV file is a type of ultrasound data file generated by a Voluson ultrasound system from GE Healthcare.
The General Electric Voluson ultrasound equipment is a device specially designed for studies in women that includes the following:
- Assisted Reproductive Medicine
- Gynecology
- Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Obstetrics
In this particular case, the 4DV file can be viewed using GE's 4D View software or ViewPoint with the 4D View plug-in.
4D View software and plug-in enable clinicians to optimize, analyze, and manipulate volume ultrasound data.
As it is a proprietary file, 4DV should not be opened with software other than the one indicated above.
